ISEA participates in the CARMA Project. Augmented Reality Simulation System for providing Training and Technical Assistance in the operation and maintenance of military equipment and systems.

The CARMA Project is centred on the deployment of an innovative strategy of technical Training and Education for the Armed Forces, using the latest Augmented and Virtual Reality Simulation Technologies, which coordinate the contextual interaction inherent in the operation and maintenance processes of military equipment and systems.

The following companies are participating in the CARMA project:

  • ALECOP Leader in the conception, development, manufacture and sale of didactic equipment in the areas of Electricity, Electronics, Automotive and Mechanical Manufacturing, as well as a specialist in the creation of e-learning training solutions for the Renewable Energies and Telecommunications sectors.
  • ISEA A private not for profit Research Centre specialising in the Business Services Sector. ISEA S.COOP is an entity that was declared to be of public interest by the Council for Justice, Employment and Social Security of the Government of the Basque Country on 26 November 2008. Likewise, ISEA S.COOP is a benchmark centre for Electronic Services and recognised by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade. ISEA S.COOP. is also an integrated Technological Scientific Agent and recognised as such within the Basque Country Science Network.
  • LABHUMAN The Human-centred Technology Laboratory (LabHuman) forms part of the Interuniversity Institute for Research and Innovation in Bioengineering and Human Centred Technology (I3BH) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and is a centre par excellence in R&D&i. Its mission is the study of how new technologies can increase the skills and capabilities of people in fields such as health, social welfare and education.
  • STT STT Ingeniería y Sistemas was formed in April 1998. Since its beginnings, the purpose of the company has been the development of innovative hardware and software products and solutions. Both the end customer and industry form STT’s customer base. STT not only supplies its customers with highly innovative products, but also develops personalised solutions and offers consultancy and training services.
